LECTURER

SNR LECTURER

• MBChB and Masters degree in the relevant field or equivalent qualification;
• At least three years tertiary or related teaching experience;
• Minimum of three publications in accredited journals;
• At least two postgraduate students supervised (completed), preferably Masters level or higher;
• Conference papers delivered
• Course/block coordinator or equivalent
• Curriculum development/innovation
• Registration with HPCSA.

• • Assist various departments with the initialisation, evaluation and awarding of tenders;
  • Manage online tender advertisement;
  • Evaluate and advise on the drafting of tender documentation in cooperation with stakeholders;
  • Evaluate tenders including the B-BBEE status of potential suppliers/contractors; and
  • Prepare related tender reports.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Three (3) years’ National Diploma in Finance, Supply Chain, Commerce or Legal or another relevant field with at least three (3) years’ experience in the following areas:
• • Commercial/procurement and/or finance;
  • Procurement practices and systems;
  • Supplier evaluation;
  • Negotiations and conclusion of contracts; and
  • Testing and sourcing new suppliers/technologies.
