Preference will be given to aspiring teachers who are:
- Passionate about studying part-time towards a 4-year Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) in Foundation and Intermediate Phase, Intermediate and Senior Phase, Senior and FET Phase and a 2-year PGCE.
- Majoring in Mathematics, Physical and Life Sciences, Accounting, English and African Languages.
- Either a grade 12 with Bachelor pass and have been admitted by a public tertiary institution, or already studying towards a teaching qualification with a public tertiary institution, or currently in Grade 12 and aspiring to study towards a teaching qualification, or have completed an undergraduate degree and aspiring to register for PGCE.
- South African citizens.
In addition, you would qualify for one or more of the following benefits, depending on your financial needs  analysis:

- Daily meal allowance.
