Job Title:- Officer Protection

Certified competent in the handling and use of a handgun, shotgun, self-loading rifle or carbine for business purposes
Be in possession of crowd control management, tactical firearm, defence and restrain techniques, advance driving skills certificate/

Conduct task required in risk identified or risk informed areas as and when required; and execute reasonable instruction given from time to time
Conduct general security duties such as prevention and detection of crime, investigation of crime, crowd facilitation, escort and reaction teams and working shifts
Monitor and secure critical infrastructure and equipment which could be used by illegal miners and corrupt employees
Report irregularities during Surveillance Observation
Ensure that all registers and occurrence books are inspected, and the contents acknowledged
Identify equipment needs on a regular basis and submit reports to the Sectional Supervisor
Inspect pocketbooks and make the necessary entries
Ensure professionalism is conducted at the underground zone all time, answer the telephone & radio in a professional manner
Ensure proper handing over is done to and from each shift
Visit each person on a regular basis during the shift also signing his/her pocketbook when visiting, discuss information related to crime threats in that area
Ensure that SPS Personnel is deployed at high-risk areas as determined by the company
Supervise the Personnel deployed at the underground zone
Ensure execution of the Security Policy, Code of Conduct, Security Rules, Security Procedures and Standards
Ensure Safe handling of firearms by SPS personnel
Compile Effective and quality recording and reporting of all non-compliance, alerts, and incidents
Perform spot checks on waybills and report any irregularities to the Supervisor
Investigate any report of sub-standard work or disciplinary breaches and submit the required documentation for corrective actions to be taken
