MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Standard 10/Grade 12 – NQF Level 4 is essential.
  • 3 Year Diploma / Degree in Education / HRD is essential.
  • Education / HRD post-graduate qualification (NQF 6/7) would be an advantage.
  • 6 – 10 year’s experience within an Education / Training environment is essential
  • 2 years Education Management experience would be an advantage.
  • Education and Training Functions, Policies and Procedures, Legal Compliance is essential.
  • Departmental Budget Monitoring is essential.
  • Reports and Analysis of Data is essential.
  • Business Objectives and Strategies is essential.
  • A valid medical certificate or be medically fit to obtain such a certificate.

  • Drivers License Code C1 is essential.
  • Drivers License Code EC with PRDP will be advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of the Road Traffic Act will be advantageous.
  • 3 years working experience as a Front-End Loader is essential.
  • Valid Medical Certificate, or medically fit to obtain such a certificate.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Must be self-driven and highly motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have skills to safely operate TMM.
  • Defensive driving skill would be essential.
  • Ability to work effectively with people of all cultures.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Safely operate and control rigid/articulated trucks.
  • Conduct pre-use inspections on the vehicles.
  • Safely operate a front-end loader.
  • Assist with off-loading of materials and equipment.
  • Transport material and equipments safely by means of Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM).
  • Report to supervisor on roadworthiness defects of TMM.
  • Ensure operational efficiency of loading and off-loading of passengers and materials.
  • To work shifts.
