Minimum Requirements:
- Trade Test Qualification in Building Environment • 5 years’ post trade qualification related experience as per KPA’s below within the Facility and Fixed Plant Maintenance environment. • Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act • Supervisory Experience – Computer Literacy – Valid driver’s licence – Must not be colour blind or hearing impaired – Must be prepared to work overtime and on standby duty
Key Performance Areas
- Doing more complex artisan work where the staff lack specialized skills; – Scoping of work, assisting artisans with diagnosing failures and doing quality control such that work is done correctly and to the required standards; – Allocating and controlling jobs of artisans and special workmen in the – Ensuring maintenance activities are clearly communicated to the client to ensure un-interrupted service and operations. – Reporting on plant & facility condition breakdowns and/or communicating urgent repair work necessary to restore functionality. – Communicating work sequences and ensuring that the team and contractors adhere to the rules and regulations to maintain safety standards. – Conduct an ongoing inspection (fault finding) of control systems and equipment.
