City Of Cape Town Municipality Senior Technician Hiring Requirements:-

•  National Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years post graduate technical experience
  with extensive exposure to Medium Voltage electrical
  distribution infrastructure, with particular emphasis
  & knowledge relating to operations & maintenance
  management.
  • Network & equipment commissioning & maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Maintenance Policies & Standards.
  • Knowledge of Reliability Centred Maintenance Practices.
  • Knowledge of Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Sound project management skills.
  • Sound knowledge of safety legislation & practice.
  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
  • Excellent report writing ability.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • A high degree of computer literacy.
  • ECSA Registered Professional Engineering Technician
  or eligible for registration.
  • Driver’s license: Code B.
