Minimum Requirements:
- • A BSc/BEng/ BTech degree in Civil Engineering plus registration as a Professional Engineer/Technologist • Minimum of eight (8) years’ relevant experience in design, construction and project management at a senior level of large water related projects • Personnel management experience • A valid Code EB driver’s licence.
Key Performance Areas
- Management Function: Managing the Design Office and CAD/GIS and Technical Records and relevant staff; ensure design and implementation of bulk water supply infrastructure identified by Bulk Water Planning • Project Management: Overall management of multi-diplomacy project teams for design, project management contract administration, construction supervision, commissioning and hand-over of future infrastructure upgrades of existing infrastructure • Forward Planning: Identify, define and undertake immediate, short- and long-term planning associated with bulk water infrastructure and project implementation • Personnel Management: Direct and control outcomes associated with utilisation, productivity and performance of personnel within the infrastructure and project implementation section of Bulk Water
