Gamagara Municipality Horticulturist Hiring Requirements:-

• Grade 12 or relevant Tertiary qualifications /Diploma in Horticulture/ Environmental Management or equivalent,
  • In possession of Code B Driver’s License,
  • Considerable years (2-5 years) relevant experience.
  • Computer literacy and experience in the application of software tools including (Ms Word, MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Internet and Outlook)

Key Performance area:

Co-ordinates activities and procedures associated with direct supervision and monitoring of personnel,
services and the status/ general condition of the Parks & Recreation Division.
• Responsible for the deployment and control of necessary equipment, tools, machinery, plant and
vehicles to undertake the work effectively and efficiently.
• Plan and design landscaping for development.
• Plans, coordinates and manages activities of the Parks & Recreation
• Develops divisional vision and strategy and ensure implementation to provide effective service delivery.
• Implements procedures, systems and controls to regulate specific work and associated sequences
associated with the functionality.
