Job Title:- Project Coordinator

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. PROGRAMME COORDINATION
ï‚· Coordinate project activities of planning, monitoring and control as delegated by the
Project Lead to ensure successful delivery of the project.
ï‚· Provide Project coordination and support in order to ensure smooth running of the
project.
ï‚· Coordinate Project governance activities, including meeting arrangements, preparation of
presentations, risk management, issue management, quality control.
ï‚· Provide coordination support to ensure the execution of the project against the
prescribed CBE project management methodology.
 Assist the project line management to monitor and control the project’s financial
expenditure and revenue to ensure delivery of the project expenditure and revenue to
ensure delivery of the project within budget.
ï‚· Assist in the facilitation of the implementation of programme plans through the
established project advisory committees(TCFs).
ï‚· Adhoc duties
2. STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
ï‚· Maintains regular contact with stakeholders.
ï‚· Establishes and maintains effective working relationships.
ï‚· Solves problems creatively whilst demonstrating a high level of integrity.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
ï‚· Advanced Certificate in Secretarial/Administration (NQF 5).
ï‚· NQF 6 qualification in Office Management will be an added advantage.
 Three (3) years’ experience in a Secretarial/Admin Assistant Role for an Executive.
ï‚· Previous role of Secretary/Admin Assistant to organisational head (CEO, MD, City Manager,
etc.) will be advantageous.
COMPETENCIES
ï‚· Typing and MS Office Suite proficiency
ï‚· Excellent communication (verbal and written)
ï‚· Strong minute-taking experience
 Ability to execute coordination in the CEO’s office
ï‚· Professionalism
ï‚· Efficiency
ï‚· Flexibility

ï‚· Confidentiality

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
ï‚· Minimum: NQF 6 qualification in any Built Environment discipline or NQF 6 qualification
in Public Administration/Management or equivalent related qualification.
ï‚· Project and Programme Management Certificate, Knowledge of business content
development and management will be advantageous.
 Five years’ experience in programme coordination within the built environment sector or
related role.
ï‚· Executive support experience will be advantageous.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
ï‚· Understanding of the built environment landscape
ï‚· Good understanding of the OHS Act
ï‚· Presentation skills (PowerPoint and verbal)
ï‚· Project and Programme Management
