Minimum requirements

• Proven experience regulatory experience within a Financial Services environment (Payments, Fintech, Banking or Insurance), as part of a Financial Services Institution, or in an advisory, law or business consulting capacity
• Third level qualification in related area
• Professional Diploma in Compliance – Association of Compliance Officers in Ireland (ACOI), or other is desirable

You will be responsible for the following:

• Creating business- transcending (adhoc) reports with high-quality analyses and advice;
• provide insights on scopes 1, 2, 3 emissions, science based targets and decarbonisation strategies and roadmaps along with related topics;
• building strong relationships with clients;
• Leading a team of 1-2 to start with, with the potential for future expansion;

• 4-8 years of relevant work experience;
• Master’s degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Accounting
• Experience in GHG emissions accounting and a sound knowledge of the GHG Protocol, particularly around scope 3 emissions
• Experience in quantification and calculation of data
• Experience in Science Based Targets, PCAF, Net Zero and other GHG emissions target requirements, guidance and standards
• Experience in decarbonisation technology solutions for a diverse range of industries from an operational perspective, to be able to communicate with clients the benefits of certain technologies over others in terms of abatement potential and costs
• Ambitious, independent and able to perform under pressure
• ESG Audit experience is a plus

Performing Statutory Audits on Pension, Provident and Retirement funds

Responsible for, however not limited to:

• Audit Planning & pre-engagement, Substantive Testing and Audit Finalising activities which include and not limited to:
• Identify operational & financial risks
• ABCOTDs
• Risk Assessment of the clients’ operating environment
• Analyse client financial statements
• Assess fraud risk
• Identify and design substantive audit procedures
• Evaluate the results of the substantive analytical review procedures
• Identify and test Information Produced by the Entity (IPE)
• Complete reporting, concluding and evaluating sections in the audit file
• Verbal & written communication of audit findings to management

BCom Degree, preferably with Accounting and Auditing Majors

1-year work experience in a similar role

Understanding of Pension, Provident and Retirement funds
